1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Service apply to the use of the Chords365 web application and related services. The service is intended to support band, church and community music work by managing songs, chords, setlists, events, projection and practice-related features. By using the service, you accept these terms and the privacy notice.
2. Account, sign-in and permissions
Most features require a user account. Sign-in may take place through an external identity provider, currently a Google account. You must use your account properly, protect your access, and notify us without delay if you notice unauthorized access or abuse. Group admins are responsible for managing group membership, invitations and permissions in line with the group's actual operation.
3. User and group content
The user or group that creates or uses songs, chords, lyrics, setlists, events, notes, files or other content is responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness and usage rights of that content. Chords365 provides a technical tool for managing content, but does not warrant that user content is always accurate, complete or cleared for use.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service only in a lawful, proper way that respects the rights of others. You must not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, collect other users' personal data or content without authorization, publish harassing or unlawful content, or upload or share content for which you do not have the necessary rights.
5. Data protection
When you use the service, we process personal data, in particular account, group, usage and technical data. Details of data processing, your rights, cookie use and processors are described in the Privacy policy.
6. Availability and backups
We aim to keep the service reliable, secure and continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, outages at external providers or security incidents may make the service partly or fully unavailable. Use of the service is not a substitute for your own backup: users and groups should keep their own copies of important content.
7. Liability and access restriction
Chords365 is provided as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or loss-of-profit damages. The user is responsible for actions performed through their account, for content uploaded or shared, and for not using the service to infringe third-party rights. In case of serious or repeated violations, access may be restricted or terminated.
8. Changes, termination and contact
We reserve the right to modify the service's features, technical operation and these terms. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner, and the current text will always be published on this page. You can request account deletion in the settings; the effects of deletion and related data-processing consequences are described in the privacy notice. For questions or feedback, contact [email protected].
