Development update: keeping the last ten minutes calm

Every rehearsal has a brief, particularly busy stretch: the last ten minutes before it starts. That is when you find out who has responded, which list is ready, and whether a small detail still needs attention. Much of our recent work has focused on making sure that information does not get lost on screen — and that the system does not ask you to do something that makes no sense.

One tangible result is the new home-page reminder for upcoming events. If there is an event in the next 30 days that you have not yet responded to, the app does not try to whisper through a tiny number: a clear banner leads you to the calendar. The details stay where you can manage them, while the important task appears in time.

The same thinking also fixed confirmation for empty setlists. A newly created list with no songs has nothing to confirm, yet it could previously show an urgent prompt and open a dead-end dialog. Now there is no banner or pointless reminder; if the list becomes empty while the dialog is open, focused guidance helps you continue. It sounds like a small rule, but these unnecessary questions are exactly what break concentration during a rehearsal.

Meanwhile, the Chords365 tips series has kept growing in all ten languages. From copying a recurring setlist to event notes and a message for the whole team, it covers everyday situations that are easy to leave to chat. The product and its guidance are moving in the same direction: less searching, less uncertainty, and more attention for music and for one another.
